Brenda joined the industry in 1981 when she was employed to manage the daily processing of share trades on behalf of Brisbane stockbrokers. She subsequently moved into a client service position with Bain & Co (which later became Deutsche Bank). It was during these early years that Brenda and Helen first worked together and established a relationship that they still enjoy today.
In 1990 Brenda took a break from the industry and accepted the challenge of managing the Brisbane office of a Canadian-based cargo shipping operator. This was a very demanding role that (amongst other things) required her to co-ordinate the fleet of vessels into, and out of, Townsville.
Brenda returned to the financial planning industry in 2008 to help look after Helen’s clients.
Due to the diversity of Brenda’s skills, coupled with her ability to engage with clients, it wasn’t long before she had claimed the unrivalled title of ‘Helen’s right arm’.
